manzanita

  • Location: La Cañada Flintridge, Los Angeles, CA

    Year: 2020-2023

    Vegetative Community: Chaparral

MANZANITA is a beautifully restored mid-century ranch house, ripe for an exterior face-lift, that seeks to repair ecological connections. Which means, copious amounts of native plants, rocks, and carefully placed water basins.

We've also reprogrammed the exterior space to accommodate a growing family, equipping it with boulders and tree stumps for hopping around, and a new pool and spa for the adults of the household.

(Big shout out to our client for the beautiful photos!)
