Year: 2020-2023
Vegetative Community: Coastal Sage Scrub
TOMAT intends to reinvigorate a Westchester neighborhood through healthy food and ecologically rich planting. It’s a true farm to table experience, celebrating food, flavor, and community, while showcasing endemic species.
We supported the team, imagining the roof top garden as a reflection of one of the coastal channel islands - Anacapa. The concept informed both the arrangement of the rooftop space and also the planting palette.
